Privacy Policy
Last updated: .
This policy explains how Pixel Reveal handles information. Pixel Reveal is developed and operated by Abers Digital. Abers Digital is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy that it controls. For privacy questions, contact contact@abersdigital.com.
Game data on your device
Pixel Reveal does not require a game account. Progress, completed and last-played levels, unlocked rewards, language, sound and vibration preferences, and tutorial completion are saved locally. The device language helps select the initial language.
On Android, Pixel Reveal also stores the age range you select: 9–12, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 or older. It does not ask for your date of birth or create an age profile on a developer-operated server. You can change the stored range in Settings.
The game does not send these records to a developer-operated server or provide its own cross-device progress synchronisation. Operating-system backups and device transfers may copy app data depending on your device settings. Local storage does not mean that data can never leave your device.
Game sounds and level content are bundled with the app. The game does not record microphone audio or request GPS location, contacts or user-created photos.
Advertising
Pixel Reveal includes Google AdMob advertising for eligible users. Where advertising is enabled, interstitial ads may appear when continuing after a completed level, and you can choose a rewarded ad to obtain a hint. Ads may be loaded in advance after the applicable eligibility and privacy checks.
Where enabled on iOS, a discreet banner may appear below the gameplay controls for eligible adult users, subject to their privacy choices and sufficient screen space. It is not displayed on the victory screen or while consent or purchase flows are active.
The app requests non-personalised ads. This does not prevent data transmission. Google's advertising services can process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic or performance information to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud. The information processed depends on the platform, device, privacy choices and advertising services used.
Read Google's Privacy Policy and its explanation of advertising technologies.
Advertising choices
For users eligible for advertising, Google User Messaging Platform checks whether a privacy message is required before the app initialises advertising. The form and available choices depend on your region and Google's configured messages. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, the game's Settings screen lets you reopen that form. The app does not provide a universal switch that stops every advertising-related transmission.
On Android, changing the age range invalidates ads already loaded by Pixel Reveal and stops further ad requests unless 18 or older is explicitly selected. Changing Google privacy choices also invalidates the app's loaded ads before the choices are applied. These safeguards do not constitute exhaustive network verification and do not promise deletion of information already processed by a provider. You can continue playing without choosing a rewarded ad.
Optional remove_ads purchase
Where offered by your store, remove_ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. On Android, its purchase and restoration interface is available only when 18 or older is selected. It disables automatic interstitial ad display and gameplay banners. Optional rewarded ads for eligible adult users remain available. It does not disable every advertising component or guarantee that all advertising data processing stops.
The app connects to the store to obtain product information and check existing purchases. It receives purchase and transaction information to recognise, complete and restore your entitlement. Settings provides a restore-purchases action. The store handles payment; the app does not receive your payment-card number. There is no developer-operated purchase-validation server in the reviewed implementation.
On Android, a previously owned entitlement remains recorded by Google Play when a non-adult range is selected, but Pixel Reveal does not present its purchase or restoration flow to that profile. The flow becomes available again only after an explicit change to 18 or older.
Platform differences
Android
Before any advertising or purchase decision, a neutral screen asks you to choose 9–12, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 or older. No option is preselected. If no range has been selected, or if 9–12, 13–15 or 16–17 is selected, Pixel Reveal does not initialise Google Mobile Ads, Google's User Messaging Platform or its Google Play Billing flow, does not preload or request ads, shows no advertising, and does not present remove_ads or its restoration interface.
Players in those profiles receive up to three local hints per puzzle attempt without an ad. After those hints are used, the game explains that no additional hint is available. The full game remains playable without advertising or purchases.
Only a user who explicitly selects 18 or older can be offered interstitial ads, optional rewarded ads and remove_ads. The applicable privacy configuration is completed before advertising is initialised. Changing to another range clears the app's loaded ads and stops the advertising and purchase flows. Purchases for eligible adults are processed through Google Play Billing. Android settings provide an option to clear app data, and system backup is permitted subject to your device and backup settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.
iOS
Purchases on iOS are processed by Apple's App Store through StoreKit. Apple manages payment and store transaction records under its App Store privacy information. App data may be included in iCloud or device backups depending on your settings; deleting the app does not necessarily remove those backups.
The examined iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. This is not a claim that advertising SDKs transmit no data. The advertising and privacy-choice practices described above also apply to the examined iOS app.
Diagnostics and other services
No separate developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service is configured in the reviewed implementation. Advertising SDKs and platform services may still process diagnostic information. This policy does not describe the game as collecting no data.
Support and this website
If you email support, Abers Digital receives your email address and the content you choose to send, to respond to your request. Do not send passwords or payment details. The support mailbox uses Gmail.
Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to provide its service. These pages add no separate analytics script or data-collection form. See the Google/Gmail and Vercel privacy notices.
Retention, deletion and your requests
Local game records have no scheduled expiry. “Reset game” clears progress and rewards, not all preferences, advertising-consent records or store purchases. Removing local app data does not necessarily remove operating-system backups. Manage backups separately using your platform's controls.
Resetting the game or removing the app does not delete records held by advertising providers or stores and does not refund purchases. Provider retention follows their policies; we do not promise a universal retention period or immediate deletion. See Google's retention information.
To request access, correction or deletion of a support conversation, or ask about your data, email contact@abersdigital.com. We retain support correspondence for up to 12 months after your request is resolved, then delete it, unless longer retention is required by law or necessary to handle a dispute. We do not promise deletion of records we do not control; requests concerning platform-held records may also need to be directed to that provider.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and may contact your competent data-protection authority. This policy will be updated when the practices it describes change.
